Cashmere-touch brushed sweater knit fabric, knitted and dyed in our own mill in Keqiao, Shaoxing — the heart of China’s knitwear supply chain. These are the articles we make for womenswear brands and garment factories that want the soft, lofty, slightly hairy surface of cashmere without the cashmere price or the cashmere lead time.
Every article below is a brushed or looped knit: the fabric is raised on one or both faces after knitting, which is what creates the warm, fuzzy hand-feel. All of them are knitted at a standard 165 cm open width, so they cut the same way across the range and you can plan a full autumn/winter collection around one width.
What “cashmere touch” actually means in a knitted fabric
Cashmere is a fibre, not a finish — so when a fabric is described as cashmere-touch, the effect comes from three things: a fine-gauge knit structure, a soft-spun yarn with a little bulk, and a brushing or looping process that lifts fibres to the surface. That combination gives you the softness and the slight bloom you see on a good sweater, while the base cloth keeps the recovery and stability a garment factory needs for cutting and sewing.
In practice that means these fabrics behave like sweater knits on the body and like jersey or ponte under the needle — they do not unravel at the cut edge the way a true flat-knit panel does, so you can cut and sew them on a normal overlock line rather than a linking machine.

Ordering terms for brands and factories
- Spot program: 1 roll minimum (roughly 20–25 kg) from stock, so you can make a proto sample or cover a short run without committing to a dye lot.
- Custom dyeing: 500 kg per colour, lab dip in 5–7 days, bulk in 10–15 days after approval.
- Sampling: free A4 swatch card and hanger set, sent by courier with freight collect.
- Capacity: 8,000 m² mill, 30+ circular and jacquard machines, around 500 tonnes a month.
- Terms and ports: T/T 30% deposit or L/C, FOB Ningbo or Shanghai.

What is cashmere-touch fabric?
It is a knitted fabric engineered to feel like cashmere — soft, lofty and slightly brushed — usually made from polyester, rayon or cotton blends with a brushed or looped surface. It gives the hand-feel of a cashmere sweater at a fraction of the fibre cost, and it can be dyed to any Pantone reference.
What weight is brushed sweater knit fabric?
Most of our brushed and thermal sweater knits sit between 260 and 400 GSM. Lighter brushed jerseys around 220–260 GSM suit cardigans and tops; 300–400 GSM velvets and chunky ribs are for coats, hoodies, dresses and structured knitwear.
What is the minimum order for a sample?
One roll, roughly 20–25 kg, from ready stock. You do not need to commit to a dye lot to test the hand-feel, weight or stretch.
Can you match a colour or a reference fabric?
Yes. Send a Pantone number or a physical reference and we will lab-dip it. Custom dyeing starts at 500 kg per colour, with 10–15 days bulk production after you approve the dip.
Where do you ship from?
We ship FOB Ningbo or Shanghai. The mill is in Keqiao, Shaoxing, about two hours from both ports, which keeps inland transport short for export orders.
